So the suggestion is that storage and cloud processing are being performed using infrastructure based outside Russia. (We’ve asked it to confirm where this is done. Update: Founder Yaroslav Goncharov told us it uses AWS and Google Cloud.)
“We don’t sell or share any user data with any third parties,” it adds.
FaceApp also says users can request their data is deleted. Xiaomi announce the stoppage of future MIUI updates for some of the old Redmi and Mi models. Xiaomi has also mentioned that its software development teams will be ceasing software development for these phones. All these Xiaomi phones will be left on stable builds of MIUI 10.2.

“We have confirmed with MIUI Global ROM developer team that there will be no Global Beta update for Mi 5 & Redmi Note 3 Pro, except for the last stable ROM that comes in the near future. And Beta Team for Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 Pro will be disbanded after its release,” reads a post on Xiaomi's MIUI Forum.

Now that Xiaomi has stopped MIUI updates for Redmi Note 3 series, Mi 4 series and Mi 5, chances are high that the company could soon stop the software updates for other phones in the series too.
The final MIUI updates for the Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 are expected in January 2019.

The report explains that when the admin of any group is unable to add you to a group, the admin can then ask for your permission via group invitation feature. This invitation expires after 72 hours.

There is a big relief to WhatsApp users. The company will soon launch a feature that requires user permission before connecting it to any WhatsApp group. The name of this feature will be 'Group Invitation'. However, currently WhatsApp users can be added to any group without their permission, but this feature can not be grouped without the user's cons.
