The Education Department has passed a resolution as per the new education policy
First the preliminary exam and then the main exam will be conducted
The structure of the examination conducted for the recruitment of teachers has been changed. As per the new education policy, TAT will now be conducted twice. From now on, only those who clear the first exam will get admission in the second exam. The government has changed the examination system to improve the quality of teachers. The education department has released a circular for this.
In these two examinations, two examinations will be conducted namely Teacher Aptitude Test Secondary and Teacher Aptitude Test Higher Secondary. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools. The examination will be organized by the state examination board as per the government list. This exam will be conducted in two stages, first preliminary exam and second main exam. In this regard, the education department has decided according to the new education policy.

Preliminary Examination: Candidates who secure more than the cut-off marks in the preliminary examination will be able to appear in the main examination. B) Applicants who have scored more than the cut-off for the main examination will not have to apply separately. The state examination board will provide Hall Ticket to such candidates through online means to appear in the main examination. k) Main Examination Candidates securing at least 60% marks in the main examination will be included in the merit list. Teacher Aptitude Test Merit List Deadline: Teacher Aptitude Test will be organized periodically. The validity of the merit list of the Teacher Aptitude Test held in any year shall remain valid till the publication of the merit list of the subsequent Teacher Aptitude Test.
